Bonus Terms

These Bonus Terms apply to every bonus, free spin and promotion offered by Edmonton Casino. They form part of our Terms and Conditions. Some promotions also have their own specific rules, which will be shown with the offer. Please read these terms and any offer rules before you opt in, so you know exactly how a bonus works and what you need to do to withdraw winnings.

1. General Rules

All bonuses are offered in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Taking part in any promotion is optional. You can play with your own money only if you prefer.
Bonus funds are kept separate from your cash balance until the wagering requirement is met.
Your cash balance is used first when you play, followed by bonus funds.
Bonuses are for recreational players. They cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold.
Where offer-specific rules differ from these Bonus Terms, the offer-specific rules apply to that offer.

2. Eligibility

To claim a bonus, you must:

Hold a registered and verified Edmonton Casino account.
Be at least 19 years of age if you live in Alberta or Ontario, and of legal gambling age where you live.
Be located in an eligible area and pass our geolocation checks.
Make your deposit with a payment method registered in your own name.
Not be self-excluded or on a cooling-off break.

Bonuses are limited to one per person, household, email address, payment method and device, unless an offer states otherwise. Bonuses may not be available in every province, depending on local rules.

3. How to Opt In

Bonuses are never added without your choice. To claim an offer, select it in the cashier or promotions area before you make a qualifying deposit, or follow the instructions shown with the offer. If you do not opt in before depositing, the bonus cannot be added to that deposit afterwards. You can decline a bonus at any time before it is credited.

4. Current Welcome Offer

Bonus funds carry a wagering requirement of 10x the bonus amount, which must be completed within 90 days.
Winnings from the free spins carry no wagering and are added to your cash balance.

For example, if you deposit C$100 and receive a C$100 bonus, you must place bets totalling C$1,000 (10 x C$100) before the bonus and related winnings can be withdrawn.

5. Wagering Requirements

A wagering requirement is the total amount you must bet before bonus funds and winnings from them become withdrawable cash. For our current offers, the requirement is 10x the bonus amount, within 90 days. Winnings from free spins carry no wagering. You can track your progress in your account at any time.

6. Wagering Contribution by Game Type

Not every game counts towards wagering in the same way. As a general guide:

Slots: usually contribute in full.
Table games such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat: contribute at a reduced rate or may not contribute.
Live dealer games: contribute at a reduced rate or may not contribute.
Video poker and other speciality games: contribute at a reduced rate or may not contribute.

The exact contribution rate for each game type, along with any games excluded from bonus play, is shown in the offer details before you opt in. Bets on excluded games do not count towards wagering.

7. Maximum Bet While a Bonus Is Active

While you have an active bonus, a maximum bet per spin or round applies. The limit for each offer is shown in the offer details before you opt in. Bets above this limit may lead to the bonus and any related winnings being removed. This rule helps keep bonus play fair for everyone.

8. Maximum Conversion

Some offers place a cap on how much of your bonus winnings can be converted into withdrawable cash. Where a cap applies, it is shown clearly in the offer details before you opt in. Any amount above the cap will be removed when the wagering requirement is met. Free spin winnings on our welcome offer carry no wagering and are credited to your cash balance.

9. Expiry

Unless an offer states otherwise, you have 90 days from the date a bonus is credited to complete the wagering requirement. If the requirement is not met within this time, the remaining bonus funds and any winnings from them will expire and be removed from your account. Unused free spins expire at the end of the period shown with the offer.

10. One Active Bonus at a Time

You can have only one active bonus at a time. If you are eligible for another offer, it will be queued and become available once your current bonus has been completed, forfeited or expired.

11. Withdrawing With an Active Bonus

You may withdraw your cash balance at any time. If you request a withdrawal before completing the wagering requirement, the active bonus and any winnings generated from it will be forfeited. We will remind you of this before you confirm the withdrawal.

12. Bonus Abuse and Voiding

We may cancel a bonus, remove related winnings and, where appropriate, close an account if we find bonus abuse. This includes:

Opening multiple accounts to claim the same offer more than once.
Working with other players to claim or wager bonuses.
Placing bets above the maximum bet or on excluded games to gain an advantage.
Using betting patterns designed to reduce risk unfairly, such as covering opposing outcomes.
Using third-party payment methods or false details to claim offers.
Using software, bots or any automated method to meet wagering requirements.

Where we void a bonus for abuse, we will return your original deposit, less any amounts already withdrawn, after verification.

13. Responsible Use of Bonuses

Bonuses should add to your enjoyment, not encourage you to gamble more than you planned. Never deposit more than you can afford just to claim an offer. Your deposit, wager and stake limits apply at all times, including during bonus play.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may change, suspend or withdraw any promotion or these Bonus Terms, for example if required by law or if an offer is being misused. Changes will not reduce your rights under a bonus you have already claimed, unless the change is required by law. Updated terms will be posted on this page.
